I know this is supposed to be just photos but ......
.... just a quick note
I just want to say I am quite impressed by the camera on my Sony Ericsson phone, a Cybershot 3.2.
Just read a book on Digital Cameras which reminds you to see what your camera can do (aren't libraries great!) Hadn’t really bothered with the phone one as I had my old Olympus Digital. Even though it is only a 2.1 MP it has a Carl Zeis lens so photos are pretty good, especially on macro.
Anyway, I had a play with the phone's camera which is a 3.2 MP and have to say I am pretty impressed with some of the pictures; the picture quality is top notch for daylight pictures.
Twighlight or City Centre, night scenes are pretty good too – but you need a very steady hand to stop camera shake. Best to take three or four of the same scene. With it being digital you can always delete the rubbish ones.
You need to up the saturation and contrast in PSP or Adobe Photoshop a tad but they turn our well.
Ideal for those candid shots. Tip – look out for the extraordinary on your travels – I left the phone at home today (only trouble with mobiles - they are too mobile!!) and on the way to work, someone had left a table outside complete with table cloth and two large candles IN THE RAIN. I am hoping it is still there tomorrow:)
Will put some of the phone photos up later
As it is Bonfire Night will be trying out the new camera, with long exposures times, apparently 6 seconds at about F11 works, with tripod. Will post any that turn out. That's if it doesn't chuck it down:)
God Bless
Jem
